Servant Leader

Thankful for the opportunity to attend the Croatan Lodge 117 Banquet a couple of weekends ago with my father Philip Decker. Dad is a servant with a huge heart for others. He’s involved in so many different organizations and activities, but I think of all of them, Scouting is his favorite. He’s been Scouting since his youth, and he’s invested thousands of hours in developing leaders, both young and grown, of high standard and good character. He’s been through so much the past couple of years, but he remains completely invested in his community, his family and the many people he considers friends. I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful example to follow!
